Beaded Mother of Earth Mask

This piece is called Mother of Earth, not finished yet. The four quadrants of the face are in the four major skin tones of humans, while the dark brown “face” is Our African roots. The hair is the tree branches in rhe sky and the chin etc is in the sea. Her eyes are closed due to the harm humanity has inflicted on her but The central eye, the third eye is open to seeing the truth.

It’s almost finished…worked almost non stop for 6 days. Only the very edges to deal with ! Here’s the sequence in pics…
