First Art Since my Twin Died

I have to thank the blogger at Ragtag Magpie for their blog post yesterday recommending Felix Scheinberger’s books on watercolor urban sketching. While it remains difficult to get out to actually look at things outside I was inspired after reading his DARE TO SKETCH (I reviewed this wonderful book for Amazon as well) to pick up a pen and damn the results, just draw. The results good or bad are that I did a drawing of a view of my living room looking towards the sliding porch door. Nothing magnificent but the fact that I did it at all was so very important.
