Domestic art: slipper boots made from boiled wool jacket

These slipper boots from 2018 were made from the detached sleeves of an old jacket then soled (rather inelegantly, but I was just winging it) with leather from old work gloves…to keep them up I attached a hair elastic that fastens around a button at the ankle. In late April in Vermont, it is still quite chilly, so I am wearing them even as I write this. If I were to make another pair besides this prototype, I might use inside a premade half-sole insert in order to provide some arch support. But many people go barefoot and would not mind this lack as much as I do.
